It was a thrill to talk with the host, Sully, and the prolific Tim Eldred on our recent participation in Hele McCarthy and Darren-Jo Ashmore's book 'Leiji Matsumoto: Essays on the Manga and Anime Legend'.

It was great to talk with Tim and find out about what he is up to. A fascinating character who has played an active roll in the fan community for Star Blazers and a vast number or related works. I actually had a chance to see a couple of the Uchu Senkan Yamato 2199 anime releases in the movie theater in Japan when Tim visited in 2013. Little did we know that we would be writing on the subject a few years later!
